Welcome to HSC Tennis! We are a sociable, energetic, friendly & hospitable tennis club. We may have been playing since 1936, but we're now a progressive, thriving family club for all generations.
We play on six floodlit Tiger Turf courts, plus the Mini Court, open daily from 08:00 to 21:30.
And of course, we have a friendly, award-winning team of 3 LTA Coaches to get you started!
Everyone can join adult & junior roll ups and weekly coaching sessions, plus there are always opportunities to play in doubles or singles tournaments, in HSC teams or ladders.

SOCIAL TENNIS OPPORTUNITIES
Our Adult Social Roll-Ups are a great way to meet people, find your level, and enjoy friendly doubles throughout the week.
We offer regular sessions for all standards – from beginners and improvers to intermediate and advanced players.
Simply turn up with your racket, mix in, and get playing – it’s social, relaxed, and open to everyone.
COMPETITIVE TENNIS
Throughout the year, we run a full calendar of singles and doubles tournaments for all standards. Whether you’re looking for competitive match play or just a fun challenge, there’s a competition for you.
Our events are friendly, lively, and a big part of club life; with BBQs, trophies, and a great atmosphere on Finals Day.
SEN TENNIS SESSIONS
Supported by brightideasfortennis.org we are proud to have started special tennis coaching for children with special educational needs (SEN). Our aim is to foster a more inclusive community for such families, allow all children to enjoy sport, and promote greater understanding.
We now run a weekly one hour SEN tennis session on a Sunday morning. All such children are welcome to join.
TENNIS OPEN DAYS
Being a happy and hospitable community hub, we put on Open Days twice a year for New and Potential Members to come meet us, see the club and coaching set up, and have some fun on court. They are sometimes a bit chaotic, with new families we can have 200+ people, but they really help to build our future community! Come join us next time!
