We provide a fun mix of social and competitive tennis for all our juniors from age 4-18. We have a thriving membership with nearly 300 juniors. Our philosophy is for juniors to really enjoy tennis and play at their own level, whether as beginners, intermediates or advanced.We promote ‘Fun and Fair Play’ both on and off the court, and we comply with LTA Standard Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practice.

SOCIAL TENNIS
Social Junior Tennis is all about community and a safe place for juniors to make friends outside school. To make it work, we do:
1. Saturday Afternoon Free Roll Up Tennis Session. These run in two age groups, term time only so just come along.
2. Tennis Camps in school hols combine social tennis and skills.
3. Junior Social Events more like a Youth Club, where juniors can make friends and play games, on and off the court, usually on a Sunday afternoon.
THE UTS STORY - LONDON
Every club dreams of providing Ball Kids for Wimbledon, few get the chance, but we had our own thrilling version in 2025, providing all the ball kids teams for the 4 day Ultimate Tennis Showdown at the Copperbox Arena, London. Our Head Coach Ben had previously trained ball kids to ATP O2 World Finals standards, so after many Sunday evening training sessions, our juniors emerged as world class ball kids fit for the one of biggest stages in pro tennis. They were an incredible team, performed at the highest levels, learnt so much about themselves and being a team. Incredible Times! They were a huge credit to themselves and the club, and a testament to everything we try to create in our Juniors. So maybe we’ll get the chance again!
