VILLAGE CRICKET AND TENNIS SINCE 1936
We’re a friendly, sociable cricket club with around 100 players from Horsley and the surrounding area, playing across two teams. As the 2024 Division 1 Surrey Downs League Champions, we’re proud to combine competitive spirit with a welcoming, inclusive culture. Part of Horsley Sports Club, we play on one of Surrey’s most picturesque village grounds, just beside our beautiful clubhouse – and enjoy fixtures in other great village settings across the region.

OUR TEAMS
We run two teams in the Surrey Downs League (Saturdays) and one team in the Surrey Village Cricket League (Sundays). Saturday matches are typically a little more competitive, while Sunday games are more relaxed and social. Whether you haven’t picked up a bat in 20 years or you’re a seasoned player who loves the thrill of league cricket, there’s a spot for you.

OFF SEASON & TRAINING
In winter, we arrange indoor nets and occasionally bring in a professional coach for batting and bowling sessions. The 1st XI even sometimes train at the nets at Lord’s! Once the clocks change and evenings get lighter, we hold occasional net sessions at the club on Wednesday eves – just check in with us to confirm it’s on.
